This course aims to introduce students to a detailed description of the main metabolic pathways which occur in the body and to use this information to understand and explain the relationship between their deregulation and different diseases. Additionally, the course gives students a solid basis for understanding how these metabolic pathways are interconnected and how deregulation represents an important aspect for pathological phenomena.
